Bathrooms are nice, facility is well kept and the owners are amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing "true" camping experience. Definitely coming back!

Took away one star only because the pool was not clean and ready for swimming on a hot weekend in August. Everything else here was perfect. Very friendly hosts.

This campground was about an hour from Mt. Washington. We did a 3 day tent camping trip at this campsite, and it was fantastic. The hosts were so nice They even expressed concern for us when we returned from Mt. Washington super late. It was a very quiet campground, which was wonderful for our vacation. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and there is even a sink for washing dishes. We truly enjoyed our time at Burns Lake!

We stayed here for 2 nights because we needed to be in the area, and also because it had received good reviews, though I cannot figure out why. We tented, and the tent sites are in the very back of the campground, beyond a huge field/lawn and close to the lake. That was fine. The sites are small, not very secluded or special in any way. Our fire ring had no grate, and no other one we saw had any - so forget about grilling anything. The firewood was so wet, we struggled to get it to light. Luckily we had a ton of newspaper, starter logs and a hatchet to turn some of it into kindling. The bathroom... they were surprising! One stall had no toilet paper, and the other had no towels (they are toilet/shower stalls). So, it is clear they aren't getting checked daily, let alone cleaned! On top of all that, the noise from the road was quite loud and constant. Disappointing experience, to say the least. Won't be going back.

I don't know why this place isn't more popular. I sent a couple of days with my girlfriend and we had a fantastic time. Extremely quite, very private, and close to a lot of things. Bathrooms are decent, hot water

We had a great weekend here with the whole family. The sites are easily accessible (level!!) and the views are great! A small, quiet campground that's perfect for that "getting away from it all" feeling. Forest Lake State Park is at the bottom of the hill with a small beach and clean swimming area.
